Short Survey for Detection of Autism

About Our Survey

Autism can be recognized through the use of a behavioral exams like the "Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised" and several others. However, because these examinations can take up to 2.5 hours to complete and must be administered in a clinical facility, the overall process of diagnosing a person with autism tends to be prohibitive. We have designed a short exam of 7 questions that may be highly accurate in the detection of autism vs. other developmental conditions such as ADHD.

Should this prove to be true, we may be able to help healthcare providers diagnose children with autism more rapidly—enabling children to receive valuable therapy that is more in tune with the timing of their development and more likely to have a positive outcome. To determine if our approach is effective we need your help.

We are in the process of evaluating the survey's effectiveness. Survey answers provide us with valuable data that we can analyze to judge the general performance of the survey. Please subscribe to our newsletter to keep informed of the development of our survey (plus other research we do on autism).
